Honda achieved this designation through maintaining the highest projected residual value after five years of new vehicle ownership. The experts at Edmunds.com are some of the most influential in the auto industry, so this award is a huge honor for the automaker.

Honda Starts Pinterest Auto Brand Trend

Pinterest is a new social media site that's becoming as much of a household name as Facebook. "Pinners" discover images on the internet and share new clothing and accessories, wedding ideas, funny e-cards, healthy eating tips, and anything else they find amusing with their friends and followers. Companies and small businesses are even starting to break into the site, which they find an easy and cost-efficient way to show off their newest products. One of the newest companies to join the site is Japanese automaker Honda, which launched its official Pinterest page last week.

It's not surprising that the 2012 Honda Fit is Cars.com's $16,000 Subcompact Shootout winner. After all, the Fit has been garnering awards since its premiere. It's been recognized as a TOP SAFETY PICK by the IIHS, a six-time winner, of Car and Driver's "10BestCars" award, and the 2012 Residential Value Award from ALG, to name a few. Honda and other Japanese automakers and auto manufacturers have been plagued with a tough question lately. As the value of the Japanese yen continues to rise, these companies must ask themselves if predominantly producing cars in their home countries is the best idea. Many of these companies have decided that exporting from other places, mainly the United States, would help to ease the financial burden. That's why Honda has taken the initiative to enlarge its Anna and Russells Point plants in Ohio. Honda Wants You to Take a Day Off with a 2012 CR-V

Honda Shocks Critics with New NSX Supercar

Japanese auto manufacturer Honda had quite a few surprises up its sleeve for this year's Detroit Auto Show. One of these surprises was the company's announcement that it would be bringing the rare-but adored Acura NSX "supercar" back to life. In addition, this vehicle will be built in Ohio, not in Japan, where the previous model was built from 1990-2005. Media members were so excited about the product that the announcement was received with a standing ovation.

Honda Accord doesn't want to wait until Space Coast Honda - 1885 Highway 520 in Cocoa, Fl introduces it to the public. Nope, this automobile is coming out in January at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.

Accord has achieved various awards over the years, and was recently recognized for a different honor. It's the most produced car in The United States. Honda parts factories and assembly lines employ thousands of US citizens with great jobs. Accord is also Honda's top-selling variant in the United States. How about that?!
