Cars.Com certainly understands the pulse of the automobile industry. Every year, the website gives a "Family Car of the Year" award. This year, that award was given to the 2012 Honda Pilot, which features a variety of upgrades for the 2012 year, including a sleeker exterior design, improved interior features, and better fuel economy. This award comes in addition to the Pilot's "USA Today, MotorWeek and Cars.com $37k and Under SUV Shootout," where it was called, "the perfect SUV for buyers who want to comfortably haul the entire family and all of their gear."¹

Japanese auto manufacturer Honda had quite a few surprises up its sleeve for this year's Detroit Auto Show. One of these surprises was the company's announcement that it would be bringing the rare-but adored Acura NSX "supercar" back to life. In addition, this vehicle will be built in Ohio, not in Japan, where the previous model was built from 1990-2005. Media members were so excited about the product that the announcement was received with a standing ovation.
