Second-row legroom measures 41.0 inches against 41.3 up front, which is the ratio that matters. A back seat that is within a third of an inch of the front one is a back seat adults will ride in willingly. Shoulder room runs 57.9 inches ahead and 55.9 behind, and the rear bench reclines, folds and splits 60/40 on all seven trims.

Comfort equipment arrives in a predictable ladder. Heated front seats begin at the EX, where a 10-way power driver's seat with two-way lumbar joins them, and two-position memory waits for the EX-L, Sport-L Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid. A heated steering wheel is standard on the TrailSport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid.

Connectivity comes standard no matter which trim you choose. A 9-inch color touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto and a charging pad ship on all seven. The instrument panel is where trim shows: 7 inches on the LX, EX and Sport Hybrid, 10.2 inches on the EX-L, TrailSport Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid. Google built-in comes on the Sport Touring Hybrid, with a complimentary data plan for its apps.

Honda offers two cabin colors, Black and Gray, and availability follows trim and paint choice. The Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid and Sport-L Hybrid wear the Black interior.
